Framed Ltd. Ed. Renegades / Dutchess Stadium Grand Opening Poster, Pickup Only, Rhinebeck, NY

Framed and matted under glass Inaugural 1994 Renegades Baseball / Dutchess Stadium signed and numbered, Limited Edition Poster by artist Linda Pault.

The artist met personally with every person in the poster to take a Polaroid photo of them in a unique animated pose to be replicated in the full color artwork. The Legend on the back identifies every one of the people in the stadium stands. According to DCHS Past-President, Robert Doyle, "Linda took a Polaroid photo of me with both arms in the air and my mouth opened wide. This pose of me was used in the full color poster at the center top holding up the "G" letter. At the time, 1994, I was the Chairperson of the Board of the Greater Southern Dutchess Chamber of Commerce that sponsored the poster project."

The GSDCOC President was Marsha Gordon, who is shown holding up the letter "R" along with many other people who were instrumental in bringing the stadium to Southern Dutchess. Also included are famous personalities such as Paul Newman and James Earl Jones! The poster, team and stadium just celebrated their 30th Anniversary last year. Framed poster measuring 32"x28" overall.

This might just be the only framed and matted, Limited Edition, Artist signed and numbered (15/500) Renegades poster with the original Legend identifying everyone, that also has the original Poughkeepsie Journal insert announcing the Renegades and introducing all the original players.

What's it worth? My reasonable estimate is $300. But, it sells regardless of price to benefit DCHS.

The J.H. Ketcham Hose Co., Inc. in Dover Plains is a volunteer fire company that has proudly served the community since 1903.
