Experiences and Gift Certificates Ending 11/9
100% of the auction proceeds benefit the DCHS. Every lot sells to the highest bidder. Payment will be made directly to DCHS, a 501-C3 Not for Profit
Corporation so no sales tax will be charged. There is a 15% Buyers Premium which
will also be going to the DCHS.

The DCHS does not receive any Federal, State or County funding. It relies solely
on donations, membership dues and private sponsorships from people like you.
Please support the 100+ year old “Mission” of the DCHS that has “collected,
preserved and interpreted the history of Dutchess County, NY, from the period of
the arrival of the first Native Americans until the present day.”

All lots sold as is, where is. There is a 15% Buyers Premium for all lots

Normal open hours are Wednesday to Saturday 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM during which time you can take a close up look at many of the physical items in the auction. This Hudson Valley Ladderback chair features original red paint and shows period repairs. The seat of the chair reflects its age, but is in stable condition and could probably be used with a cushion on top. The cane seat does appear to be original to the chair. The seat is 17 inches high measured from floor level, 19 inches wide at the front tapering to 15 inches wide at the back. The arm rests are 25 inches high measured from floor level. The back of the chair is 51 inches tall from floor level and 17 inches wide. VALUE $250
