Dutchess County Historical Society (DCHS) Fundraising Auction of Unique Experiences and Gift Certificates Ending 11/17

100% of the auction proceeds benefit the DCHS. Every lot sells to the highest bidder. Payment will be made directly to DCHS, a 501-C3 Not for Profit Corporation so no sales tax will be charged. There is a 15% Buyers Premium which will also be going to the DCHS.

The DCHS does not receive any Federal, State or County funding. It relies solely on donations, membership dues and private sponsorships from people like you. Please support the 100+ year old “Mission” of the DCHS that has “collected, preserved and interpreted the history of Dutchess County, NY, from the period of the arrival of the first Native Americans until the present day.”

Payment must be completed by Friday, November 22 at 3PM.

All lots sold as is, where is. There is a 15% Buyers Premium for all lots purchased. Payment methods are cash, check, Visa, MasterCard & Amex.

DCHS is located at 6282 Route 9, Rhinebeck, NY. Normal open hours are Wednesday to Saturday 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM during which time you can take a close up look at many of the physical items in the auction. It is preferable to confirm an appointment time by emailing Bill Jeffway at bill.jeffway@dchsny.org

Call to make your appointment for your kids class 3-5pm on a Saturday. Judi Esmond has been the owner and operator of Hudson Valley Pottery since 2013. She has been making pottery or making photos since age 11 as a way to relax and be in the moment. Judi received a BFA in Photography, BA in Art Education and a MA in Studio Art with a concentration in Ceramics, all from from SUNY New Paltz. Judi has been an adjunct museum educator with the Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art at SUNY New Paltz. She is a K-12 certified art teacher and has worked in the New Paltz Central School District for nine years. Judi continues to take on creative projects for clients and she makes most of the pottery on sale at the studio. Teachers at the studio are Judi Esmond, Inyo Charbonneau, Annie Mesa and Ben Clark. https://www.hudsonvalleypottery.com/
