Dutchess County Historical Society (DCHS) Fundraising Auction of Unique Experiences and Gift Certificates Ending 11/17

100% of the auction proceeds benefit the DCHS. Every lot sells to the highest bidder. Payment will be made directly to DCHS, a 501-C3 Not for Profit Corporation so no sales tax will be charged. There is a 15% Buyers Premium which will also be going to the DCHS.

The DCHS does not receive any Federal, State or County funding. It relies solely on donations, membership dues and private sponsorships from people like you. Please support the 100+ year old “Mission” of the DCHS that has “collected, preserved and interpreted the history of Dutchess County, NY, from the period of the arrival of the first Native Americans until the present day.”

Payment must be completed by Friday, November 22 at 3PM.

All lots sold as is, where is. There is a 15% Buyers Premium for all lots purchased. Payment methods are cash, check, Visa, MasterCard & Amex.

DCHS is located at 6282 Route 9, Rhinebeck, NY. Normal open hours are Wednesday to Saturday 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM during which time you can take a close up look at many of the physical items in the auction. It is preferable to confirm an appointment time by emailing Bill Jeffway at bill.jeffway@dchsny.org

View the beautiful interior of the first floor of this grand Victorian on Academy Street in Poughkeepsie, hear the history of Mr. Butts and play America’s favorite game! No, POUGHKEEPSIE is not in the Scrabble dictionary. But if it were, it would give you 24 points! Your hosts for this unique experience are the homeowners Tim and Mark and Dutchess County Historical Society trustee, Antonia Mauro. They invite you to step back in time, sip a 1950s cocktail and enjoy retro hors d'oeuvres.

Arrangements: April 1st - November 6th, 2025. Saturdays - 5pm to 7pm, or Sundays - 3pm – 5pm. Minimum age is 21. After arrangements are confirmed, the winning bidder must notify the contact with the number of people attending at least ONE WEEK PRIOR.
