Two Tickets to Annual Mount Gulian Gala Featuring General Von Steuben

"Dinner and Conversation with General Von Steuben"

The Annual Mount Gulian Historic Site Gala will be held onsite at their Beacon area, Hudson Riverfront 18th century home and Dutch barn on Saturday, June 7, 2025 from 4:30 – 9:00 PM.

This is a wonderful annual event that will feature General Friedrich Von Steuben who was headquartered at Mount Gulian 1782-1783, close to the Fishkill Barracks and Supply Depot and right across the Hudson River from Washington’s Headquarters in Newburgh.

While at Mount Gulian "The Baron", as he was often called, learned of the signing of the Treaty of Paris, ending the Revolutionary War and giving the new nation total independence from England.

Often a footnote in history, General Von Steuben, a Prussian (German) immigrant, emerged from military obscurity in Europe to become an important but unsung hero of the Revolutionary War, having a lasting impact on the American Army and our nation’s history. Wikipedia Link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Friedrich_Wilhelm_von_Steuben

The evening will showcase a catered affair, including a sumptuous four-course dinner based on some of their favorite foods. Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres will be served on the scenic riverside lawn prior to dinner.
