Dutchess County Historical Society (DCHS) Fundraising Auction of Unique Experiences and Gift Certificates Ending 11/5

100% of the auction proceeds benefit the DCHS. Every lot sells to the highest bidder. Payment will be made directly to DCHS, a 501-C3 Not for Profit Corporation so no sales tax will be charged. There is a 15% Buyers Premium which will also be going to the DCHS.

The DCHS does not receive any Federal, State or County funding. It relies solely on donations, membership dues and private sponsorships from people like you. Please support the 100+ year old “Mission” of the DCHS that has “collected, preserved and interpreted the history of Dutchess County, NY, from the period of the arrival of the first Native Americans until the present day.”

Two General Admission Rodeo & Concert Tickets (2024) with gift basket at Silo Ridge, Amenia, NY.

The annual Rodeo, hosted in the picturesque area of northern Dutchess County, is a family friendly event featuring Mutton Bustin', Barrel Racing, Roping, Bronc Riding, and Bull Riding. Some of the best cowboys from the east will compete against western cowboys in a nationwide competition of top hands. Doors open at noon and the rodeo begins at 3 pm. There will be a variety of local food trucks and libations for the adults as well as local vendors. Pre-rodeo activities include rodeo clowns, stick horse rodeo competition for young kids, barrel racing demonstrations, rodeo roping clinic, animal care conversations, face-painting, meet and greet photo opportunities with cowboys and cowgirls, and music from local country music artists.

The Hudson Valley Rodeo is being produced by Leland McMillan of LKC Rodeo Productions in Huntley, MT and Woodstock-based Chet-5 Productions, Inc. Sponsors include the Silo Ridge Community Foundation, Stoneleaf Construction, Silo Ridge Field Club, Discovery Land Company, and Casamigos as well as over 20 local businesses. Value $450.
