(B) Fluted fruit bowl with floral decoration. Four feet. Signed on bottom: Vestal Ricobacr. Made in Portugal. Hand painted. 562. Acquired in Lisbon 1976. Diameter 9in. (C) Large plate with imprinted maple leaf design. Made by applying maple leaves to wet ceramic before black glaze was added and piece was fired. Signed on back Collected from artist in 1991 at Bard College art fair. (D) Eucalyptus caesia pot by Georgina Elms who specialized in pottery highlighting Australian plants. Elms is considered one of the foremost ceramic artists in Australia, noted especially for her use of sterling silver decoration in the glaze as exemplified by this work. She has been commissioned to create official gifts for Queen Elizabeth II, the King and Queen of Spain, and other notables. Signed on bottom. Acquired 1993. H 4in. Diameter 5in. (E) Deer playing in a tropical paradise. Decorative plate acquired in Mexico City in 1956. Hand painted and designed for wall mount. Diameter 21.25in.
