Extremely Rare, Patriotic, American Revolutionary War period, Colonial, 18thC pressed horn handled straight razor with GEORGE WASHINGTON depicted on the front, and BENJAMIN FRANKLIN on the pile side. This is a one of a kind shaving device that was made by, and stamped “WILSON.” Note the American Eagle, “America,” Cherry Tree and thirteen stars on the side with Washington, and the Bee Hive (Industry) and “Cornucopia” decoration for Franklin.  "Wilson" was a quality maker of pressed horn handles for the cutlery manufacturing industry in Sheffield, England for the American market. Further, these early full length pressed horn scenes, when combining both sides, tend to tell a story. Please see multiple images for details.

Very rare cases set of three stamped blades having one genuine natural material handle with unique locking device. This is the only case set of three blades I have encountered. These one Handled sets are extremely rare and were produced for a very short period of time, approximately 1820-1840. Further, each locking device is numbered to correspond with the specific shaped tang that fits it. Each handle with custom locking device only worked with the blades supplied.
