HAM radio cabinet on casters having transmitter with certificate of registration from FCC, approx. 21" x 19" x 72"T. Transmitter - 250W CW, Homebrew; consisting of a #59 oscillator to a RK20A driver to a pair of PP 860's in the RF output. NOTE: Special keying circuit consists of a quad f #45 tubes arranged in a special mannr to minimize unwanted oscillations. Rectifiers consists of Taylor 866"jr" tubes among other types. The whole transmitter is a wealth of homebrew engineering knowledfge of what was the "state of the art" in the mid to late 1930's, probably constructed circa 1936. The builder took to time to make ARRL diamonds cut into the special aluminum side panels with a drill press. It even has it's WWII FCC certificate registering it as being capable of operation during wartime hostilities, located on the front panel dated sometime in early 1945. The amount and type of tubes alone are worth the cost of admission. The whole transmitter is truly a work of art seldpom seen in this condition.
