Very rare, J.R. Torrey single handled 7-Day set in leather covered wood case. I have never seen another by this maker, or any other American maker. Typically, these early 7-Day sets were made in Shefield, England during the first quarter of the 19thC. this one is exceptional as it is fitted in the original case, is complete, the handle being ivory and all the blades marked with the days of the week. A gem.
