Dutchess County Historical Society (DCHS) Fundraising Auction of Unique Experiences and Gift Certificates Ending 11/9

100% of the auction proceeds benefit the DCHS. Every lot sells to the highest bidder. Payment will be made directly to DCHS, a 501-C3 Not for Profit Corporation so no sales tax will be charged. There is a 15% Buyers Premium which will also be going to the DCHS.

The DCHS does not receive any Federal, State or County funding. It relies solely on donations, membership dues and private sponsorships from people like you. Please support the 100+ year old “Mission” of the DCHS that has “collected, preserved and interpreted the history of Dutchess County, NY, from the period of the arrival of the first Native Americans until the present day.”

Normal open hours are Wednesday to Saturday 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM during which time you can take a close up look at many of the physical items in the auction. Moving to the Hudson Valley, she opened a rug and boutique carpet business in Rhinebeck, building her reputation and portfolio of services. For the DCHS Auction, Deb is providing a Rug Cleaning Service to be used before September 30, 2026. Deb will pick up your rug anywhere in Dutchess County, and she will transport it to the best "to the trade" cleaner in NYC and return your sparkling rug to your home. This is your opportunity to make a favorite rug sparkle and shine, removing stains, dust and debris.
