100% of the auction proceeds benefit the DCHS. Every lot sells to the highest bidder. Payment will be made directly to DCHS, a 501-C3 Not for Profit
Corporation so no sales tax will be charged. There is a 15% Buyers Premium which
will also be going to the DCHS.

on donations, membership dues and private sponsorships from people like you.
Please support the 100+ year old “Mission” of the DCHS that has “collected,

the arrival of the first Native Americans until the present day.”

This lifetime collection numbers over fifty framed examples by many different artists including Frank Anderson (1844-91), Julie Hart Beers (1835-1913), Alfred Thompson Bricher (1837-1908), Norton Bush (1834-1894), Johann Hermann Carmiencke (1810-67), George Lafayette Clough (1824-1901), Edmund C. Coates (1816-1871), Jasper Francis Cropsey (1823-1900), Johann Mongels Culverhouse (1820-1891), Victor DeGrailly (1804-1889), Asher Brown Durand (1796-1886), plus the rest of the alphabet of 19thC Hudson River landscapes painters.
You and your guests will get to view, learn, and have ample opportunity to ask questions about paintings of particular interest. Plan for visiting for up to three hours. Date and time to be determined by you and the Doyles for anytime before December 31, 2024. Value $200.
