The Annual Mount Gulian Historic Site Gala Event held onsite at their Beacon area, Hudson Riverfront 18thC Home and Barn from 4:30PM - 9PM on Saturday June 3rd 2022. This is a wonderful annual event that will feature a unique historical figure in costume as the main speaker for the evening, yet to be determined. Last year’s Annual Dinner featured First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt, portrayed by a finely skilled actress from the American Historical Theatre. In the midst of the Second World War, we learned about Mrs. Roosevelt’s use of radio addresses, public appearances and her “My Day” columns to calm fears and rally citizens to do their part in the war effort. The New York State Society of the Cincinnati was honored at this event. Everyone enjoyed cocktails on the riverside lawn, a four-course, historically themed dinner served in our 18th century Dutch barn. Value $330. https://mountgulian.org/.
