Dutchess County Historical Society (DCHS) Fundraising Auction of Unique Experiences and Gift Certificates Ending 10/24

100% of the auction proceeds benefit the DCHS. Every lot sells to the highest bidder. Payment will be made directly to DCHS, a 501-C3 Not for Profit Corporation so no sales tax will be charged. There is a 15% Buyers Premium which will also be going to the DCHS.

The DCHS does not receive any Federal, State or County funding. It relies solely on donations, membership dues and private sponsorships from people like you. Please support the 100+ year old “Mission” of the DCHS that has “collected, preserved and interpreted the history of Dutchess County, NY, from the period of the arrival of the first Native Americans until the present day.”

This lifetime collection numbers over seventy-five framed examples by many different artists including Frank Anderson (1844-91), David Maitland Armstrong (1836-1918), Julie Hart Beers (1835-1913), Henry Boese (1824 - 1897), Alfred Thompson Bricher (1837-1908), George Loring Brown (1814-1889), Norton Bush (1834-1894), Johann Hermann Carmiencke (1810-67), George Lafayette Clough (1824-1901), Edmund C. Coates (1816-1871), William Craig (1829-75), Jasper Francis Cropsey (1823-1900), Johann Mongels Culverhouse (1820-1891), Victor DeGrailly (1804-89), Asher Brown Durand (1796-1886), plus the rest of the alphabet of 19thC Hudson River landscapes painters. You and your guests will get to view, learn and have ample opportunity to ask questions on paintings of particular interest. Plan for visiting for up to three hours. Date and time to be determined by you and the Doyle’s anytime before December 31st 2022
