Dutchess County Historical Society (DCHS) Fundraising Auction of Unique Experiences and Gift Certificates Ending 10/24

100% of the auction proceeds benefit the DCHS. Every lot sells to the highest bidder. Payment will be made directly to DCHS, a 501-C3 Not for Profit Corporation so no sales tax will be charged. There is a 15% Buyers Premium which will also be going to the DCHS.

Please support the 100+ year old “Mission” of the DCHS that has “collected, preserved and interpreted the history of Dutchess County, NY, from the period of the arrival of the first Native Americans until the present day.”

(The Old Mill at Irondale antiques store should not be missed and is a short drive outside of town north on Rt. 22.) Across Main Street, peruse books and toys at the charming Oblong Book Store. For a pick me up, Irving Farms Coffee Roasters is right around the corner. A delicious lunch for two awaits, anytime in the afternoon at The Millerton Inn (value $150) Enjoy touring the downstairs of the beautifully restored 1860 Inn. The deep fried feta in phyllo drizzled with honey is not to be missed and will have you coming back for more. Other shop stops include Westerlind, a Swedish clothing store (formerly Sapersteins), The Gilded Moon Framing, housed in a beautifully restored bank and North Elm Home, a furnishing store outside of town on Rt. 22.
