French clock is extremely heavy and is believed to be marble or stone, 14.75"Wx7"Dx18"H with key (there is a 1"chip on left front corner that is not very noticeable). The black French clock is dated 1812 RR and was passed down through the family by Horace P. Wright, who died in 1944, having headed the prosperous W.H. Wright Co. - a cigar manufacturing company in Springfield, Mass that his father founded.
