Magnificient Mid 19thC French high column-4 poster bed flame mahogany all over, complete with headboard, 4 columns, footboard, all hardware, super condition easy to assemble, one of a kind. The high end auction from NYC did not go into this part of the attic and never saw this bed, They would definately have taken it if they had seen it. There appears to be metal pins on which a canopy would mount but the homeowner said there was never a canopy as far back as she can remember, the bed was her mothers and she is in her 80's. The posts are 8' 11" tall. the interior measurement fo a mattress are 73"x63.5". The headboard measures 72"widex8" deepx8'11" tall. BRING TOOLS TO DISASSEMBLE LOCATED IN RIGHT ATTIC- BRING HELPER.
