American Federal/Empire, early 19thC intricately carved mahogany sofa with bronze mounts and bronze inlay. 85"x26"x37" high. Mice have had their dance but the frame is solid and the paw feet carvings and bronze work is all fine and highly detailed. It needs to be reupholstered but this is an outstanding piece of Ameicana.A major auction house from NYC came to this home and took a number of things for consignment but they did not look in the playhouse where this sofa was. They would have probably taken it if they did.
