Pair of John Henry Henrici (1863-1958) matching late 19th Century (1896) watercolors of street newspaper boys by well-known American New York artist, in original frames and in excellent condition sight: 12.5" X 18.5", frame: 20.5" X 27". Seller reports "At the time these paintings were acquired, it was my family's understanding that they were originally a gift to the father of prominent 20th century journalist and essayist, Heywood C. Broun, upon the retirement of the elder Broun from the New York Tribune in 1896.
