In 1955 the Fire District purchased an Oren quad style fire truck. This new truck was stationed at Engine Company One and given the designation “Arlington Fire District Truck One”. This allowed an Ahrens Fox truck stationed there to be reassigned to the newly formed Croft Corners Fire Company station. This Oren fire truck served the fire district for over twenty-five years and then was later sold. In recent years, members of the fire district located the Oren truck at a salvage yard in disrepair and purchased the truck.

Now, the Oren fire truck is currently in the possession of Arlington Engine Company One and is being offered at auction. Located in Poughkeepsie, NY, this offering includes all of the components to finish this restoration project.
